I didn't realise quite how tall this will be. Even for NY that is damn tall. At 342m it will probably be second only to ESB when completed. But without the spire, which although architectually warranted seems ridiculously tall to me, it'd be back quite a way back.

Nevertheless I like it - very interesting concept.

Very Unique tower, I'm loking forward to see it when it's finished at Lower Manhattan's waterfront. It's already a quite nice place to stay with some friends and...some beer!

Damn I wish I could live there.....stunning.

I wonder how much it'll cost for each unit? Most be incredibly expensive.

I don't understand when people say "it doesn't fit in"

I can't stand when people say that, i hate going to a downtown where every frickin building resembles the next one. I wish every sky rise was made up of complete unique buildings. Things that fit in look boring, unoriginal, and unispiring. IT IS BORING!

This building is all that every sky rise should want, that is unique and will be known around the world because of the uniqness.

Me either. If it doesn't fit into the world's most architecturally diverse skyline, I don't know where it will. Actually, I think you could stick it just about anywhere and it would look beautiful.

Well I personally would like it much more if the static core had more module connections per level, like maybe three or four, and then twist them on each other's center line's. he's into the "curve thing" anyway. Also, to turn a profit, the per unit cost will be astronomical, for the elite only. (which, by the way is one of the reasons i don't like it)

I wonder, has a developer has been named yet, seems like a money risk to me, surely the only way I would develop this kind of building would mean, the total cost of the project, would have to be my gas money....!!

However, I do like the concept, static core, with module attached, (better if module's where interchangeable, as with the Nakagin Capsule tower in Tokyo, Japan.) That way if your job requires changing location, simply chopper or aircargo your module to the static core nearest that new location, ( after of course renting a space) and your home is there when you arrive, just as you left it. (with the possiblity of slight damage, due to flight turbulance.)

How it stands as pictured, I agree with the statment that the tower needs more meat, looking a little slim..!!!!!!!!!

yeah..i still wonder though...I mean, it says on the frontpage that it has been aproved and construction will start soon, but anyone can say that, and without anymore details, i am beginning to doubt it a bit...Its gonne be very difficult to find a developer, and even hard to fid 10 people willing to spend at lest 30-35 million, for a unit...i just dont know...
