Magna Prima puts off land buy till June 19

MAGNA Prima Bhd’s planned purchase of two pieces of land in Kuala Lumpur for some RM58 million from Muafakat Baru Sdn Bhd is now extended by a further three months to June 19 2010.

Magna wants to build a shopping mall and two blocks of serviced apartments worth some RM730 million on the 4.1ha.

The land is located next to Jalan Kuching and the intersection between Jalan Kuching, Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Kepong.

The deal was first announced in November 2007.

the concept is gateway..so perhaps its necessary to hv that sky bridge..i dont know..

Interestingly... Dorsett Hotels and Mayland are sister companies, both are owned by Tan Sri David Chiu from Hong Kong-based Far East Consortium International Ltd...... Land & General (developer of Sri Damansara), Mayland Parkview (KL) and Maytower are also sister companies.

He now puts his daughter up there...

Mayland. in its early projects, Sri Putramas was screwed up. even after 6 years of completion, it doesn't appreciate much. bad workmanship. then, Royal Domain also said to have same problem. then the Royal Domain 2 is on hold. as they are now focussing on Regalia.

now, we have 66,000 units of luxury condos unsold. and venturing into it in this time is.....

anyway, i'm looking for a good 2-rooms condo....damn hard to find lah! (yang tak mahal sangat lah..)
