Small questionnaire:

1. What car do you drive.

2005 Volvo S40. Its younger looking and fun to drive. 23 mpg is pretty hectic for the money but not bad compare to SUVs.
2. What camera do you use.

Some Canon 7.0 megapixel camera. I'm too tired and too lazy to go to my car trunk and check the actual name.
3. Your favourite road.

George Washington Parkway from American Legion Bridge to George Washington House in Alexandria Virginia. The best sceneries like the Potomac River, Georgetown, Alexandria Old Town, Reagan National Airport, Pentagon, Crystal City, Woodrow Wilson Bridge and many more.

Sexiest road to drive is A1A in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Nothing but Bikinis and Luxury Condos. I suggest to drive a convertible for perfect view.

4. The worst road you've ever driven.

I-405 in Los Angeles. If you want to drive the worst traffic in the world, try this highway and you will get stuck for hours.

I-66 in Northern Virginia. Another of those bottlenecks. And this one is getting worst every year.

5. Places worth visiting in your country.

I think everyone knows what to visit in United States. For me though, I prefer Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Las Vegas, Miami Beach, Universal Studios in LA and Orlando, New York, Chicago, DC, Atlanta (especially the Georgia Aquarium and Coca-Cola) and San Francisco.

6. Places worth visiting in your city.
-The National Mall perferably the National Gallery of Art and The Air and Space Museum.

7. Why Struma motorway is the best in the world?
Nobody cares.

None of my own, but I do get to drive my mother's Camry.

2. What camera do you use.
EOS 350D

3. Your favourite road.
Vienna's Höhenstraße, or if we're only talking about motorways, Croatian A1 between Karlovac and Split

Quote:
4. The worst road you've ever driven.
Austria's A1 just west of Vienna until very recently and Italy's A3 all the way from Naples to Reggio C.

Quote:
5. Places worth visiting in your country.
Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg, the Salzkammergut, Hohe Tauern, Neusiedler See.
Roadwise: Europabrücke, Großglocknerhochalpenstraße, Timmelsjochstraße, couple of other nice pass roads.

6. Places worth visiting in your city.
Vienna offers too much to name it all.
Roadwise: Definitely Höhenstraße, a forest road winding up to Kahlenberg, a great lookout point.

7. Why Struma motorway is the best in the world?
It's like in Orwell's 1984: Even the question is a crime.

I don't know, if this question was previously asked, but by reading this:

i started to wonder, what kind of music, what artists or what cds you prefer for driving?

I usually listen every new cd in my car, to check if it is good for driving. And after many years of driving and listening, i've drawn a conclusion, that the best for drivig are 3 chord songs: verse-chorus-verse-chorus-guitar solo-chorus, for example Bruce Sprignsteen, ZZ Top, Popa Chubby, RHCP, punk or 70's rock. When i need something more sophisticated, then i turn on Dire Straits, Santana, Thr Police, Ella Fitzgerald, reggae or some blues cds. And when i need something with power (for example for german motorways ), i turn on heavy cds: Godsmack, Stonesour, Acid Drinkers. And sometimes i listen something just for fun, for example klezmer music.

I'm more in favor of the (progressive) rock scene. So i like ZZ Top, Toto, Dire Straits, but also Marillion, Pink Floyd, Pendragon, Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree. I also like some guitar virtuoso like Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai.

Most of todays music is just "blah" to me.

Chris: And what songs did you use in A2 movie? I think i recognize Billy Gibbons' guitar. But i don't know second song.
Verso: Of course you are talking about music, not drivingstyle

there is nothing better to me for longer trips but Eros Ramazzotti! i don't know why, but his music suits to me the best in the car. in general, i like italo pop so if not Eros, there is 883, Laura Pausini, Nek and the others

Depends on my state of mind on the road, when i'm in a hurry to pick somebody up on time, I prefer the harder styles of music; I want to have at least some serious raw bassguitar rifles, fast pumping beats, i want to feel the music. It gives me shiploads of energy and focus.
On the other hand, when I head back to homebase, after the job is done, and i have to drive for a while. The cruise control mode in the car, and in my head, is switched on. and the music of preference changes radically; Lovesongs, ballads, mariah carey, coldplay, A-ha, celine dion.. mmm, Voyage, voyage!!

i made a couple of video's on the A2, but the Utrecht video has the following;

1st song: Joe Satriani - Ten Words
2nd song: Vandenberg - How Long

I was thinking about this movie: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...&postcount=465

Joe Satriani is terra incognita for me. And Arab music also . This Billy Gibbons was only a guess.
