Naming buildings/sporting events after the main financier is just a common practice.

Well the point is to have great relations first and naming landmark buildings later ,not the other way around.

There is no "Las Vegas-type" building

As for the tower and the name, it is being build by a Abu Dhabi state owned company, hence the name. Nothing strange there, so get over it.

As I've said, I like the building. I disapprove the name. But even there I'm not that irritated so you can say that I've gotten over it.

Very nice design very nice to see some of the central Asian countries doing well.

i hope they stick close to the design on the fringes and actually makes boxes in an open atrium like it looks like on the rendering. will be very futuristic this way. might also be just reflections, abit hard to say really.

i actually kinda also get a portable hard drive or ,usb memory stick sensation from this design also
