This building will have its own internal elevators to the 34th Street Station right?

I think there's going to be a corridor to 30 Hudson Yards from the 34th Street Station as well.

Are there any other buildings along Hudson Boulevard that will have direct access to the station?

It's not clear. All but One of the new images show it.

It looks amazing either way.

I really don't like the spire in combination with the roof design.

I'm really not a fan of this tower. Looks like something between the BOA tower and The NY Times tower, didn't turn out too good IMO.

I love BOA tower!

3 Hudson I think will be much better/dramatic in real life.. it's looking like one of those where the renders aren't doing it justice (bad rendering quality, looks flat, etc). That said, I'm not super excited right now, but still looking forward to its rising.

I love the BOA too. And I might be one of a few to actually like The NY Times tower, but this mix doesn't do it for me.
I'll be open minded and wait to see the final product before making a final judgment.

I dunno why people don't like this tower. This tower is nicer than most office buildings going up in NY right now and more progressive looking. It has some contemporary features like the rare torque, which hardly any buildings have around the world. Around 25 or so have them. NY is usually not building such contemporary styles and you should appreciate these kind of towers when they are offered to you by developers who are not afraid to try and push the envelope in NY office design. This could have been another boring box like 55 HY or 50 HY and they might have saved money on the design.

It's not bad. It's not amazing, but it's not bad. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Love the design and it fits in perfectly here. It doesn't need the needle on top (shouldn't call it a spire as it isn't). This is one ploy of increasing a building's height by 100 meters or so - kind of cheating.

With all the glass towers in the area I think it's less about the height and more about being a little add-on to keep it from completely blending in and going unnoticed. It's fine with me. If you're an office worker and tell your friends you work in a tower in HY, and they ask which ones but don't know them by name, it's good for all the towers to have a little distinguishing feature for you to say "the one with.../the one that looks like..."

I really like this tower but the spire is kind of overkill. Not quite as bad as 1WTC but still overkill.
