Anyone else notice how the Girasole looks alot similar to a building in one of the Vornado/Durst proposal renderings for the west side railyards?

It may be because Vornado/Durst somehow owns the site. The Moinian Group is also building a 50+ story skyscraper next to WTC Tower 5 and its foundations were completed this week.

Like we've said before, it's very likely that this is going up no matter who wins the bid for Hudson Yards, and next to this tower, you have the planned Sherwood office tower, another supertall, and lots of other stuff too. For this city, the coming years hold too much to currently fully understand.

FT will rise first and will also top out first . the foundation is done on FT but not on the GiraSole....they haven't started with it yet
