This thread is very usefull as it depicts the various architectural styles of Sofia.In terms of architecture I think that there is an interesting diversity and some of the buildings are really great.I also love the churches of your capital such as the Saint George, st Petka or st Sophia...masterpieces.
 compared to them the cathedral of Alexander Nevsky is so new but at the same time so impressive, one of my favourites churches in Europe. thanks to all for the nice pics. Greetings from Athens.

THE BULGARIEN PARLEMENT...
I think that the architect was KONSTANTIN JOVANOVIC,a great serbien architect from the 19th century.the building was done in 1884:

Забелязвате ли колко са просторни тротоарите и колко уютно изглежда без пазар, амбулантни търгови и неправилно паркирани автомобили.
