The scale is off now that tower one is taller and tower two is shorter than the original. I am not ignorant to the reasons, but would have preferred a different method to deal with their restrictions.

Have the 195 metre and 89 metre heights listed reflected this, or are these heights no longer accurate?

Four Seasons has stated that they will keep both hotels, but that may simply be PR. Long term, I can't see this chain operating 2 properties 4 blocks from each other. The old one isn't very glamourous from the exterior. I doubt they'll be aggressively trying to hold on to it.
Four Seasons doesn't own the old hotel on Cumberland anymore. They sold it to Kingdom Hotels 2 years ago.

So you will contine to have 2 Four Seasons Hotels in Toronto. One run by Four Seasons, one run by Kingdom Hotels (bin taal Waleed)

Before the recent buy out, I don't think Four Seasons owned any of their hotels. They had been strictly a hotel management firm. The buildings were independently owned and Four Seasons branded these hotels under their name, managed these hotels, and staffed them. They collected good fees for this service. Four Seasons had differed from most other hotel firms in this respect.

Isn't Kingdom Hotels the firm that bought out Four Seasons? Four Seasons will continue to be the brand (under Kingdom Hotels' ownership) that runs the properties. I don't think Kingdom Hotels will be running any of these former Four Seasons hotels since Four Seasons is the hotellier. This was my understanding. Is this incorrect?

This will be the jewel in Yorkville's crown. The epitome of ultra-excess and luxury. Fitting for this Toronto nabe

Yorkville is really shaping up well. Cumberland and Yorkville Avenue are no Bond Street or 5th Avenue, but the area is really starting to build opulent buildings to match the high end retail. Modest structures that have been tarted up still dominate, but things like the Four Seasons and some of the new condo developments are really making a difference.

Which one is that? The one going up opposite Starbucks, the newest one on Bay (west side), or some other building?

Newest one on Bay.

Regardless, Yorkville is all about street level interaction, and Regency will deliver that front row centre!

Apparently this Four Seasons will actually have THE most expensive condominiums in Toronto (per square foot) Expect the finishings to be nicer than even Ritz Carlton Toronto.

Well I'll break the rules a bit. A couple of years ago I did a stint at MPAC...and yes Kingdom Hotel showed up on the ownership of the building after the sale.

As far as I know they still own it.

Well when you consider that they won't be starting until the spring of 08'. 2010 would be a good guess!

Yes, that is my understanding also. They own the entire portfolio of real estate including the new one being built.
