Aww man Can't we say the taller tower will be 210 m and move it to the skyscraper section?

The best part is its really cost effective. I.e. it only takes two guys to maneouvre the hose and nobody is required to distribute the concrete over the large surface area of the pour. This technology, if it works well this time, will likely be adopted at many more sites and result in some major building cost reductions. Cheers.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing this information, it's always great to get a bit more information than is mentioned in the press.

apparently they are making quite the healthy profit, as they can pay each of those pumpers to idle there without doing anything constructive.

thanks for the pictures man!

Actually, it was probably the most effecient pouring operation I've seen, the trucks were pumping four at a time, and then rotating out.

I'm always surprised at how large this building site is.

CAN SOME ONE MOVE THIS ONE?
This should be in the skycraper section, not the highrise section. The taller tower is 210 metres, not 195 metres. Nice to see this one at grade. Should start getting interesting! This will be the tallest building in Yorkville and part of a 2nd cluster that's forming downtown.

Nice updates.
I'm still all giddy from the big pour. Hard to believe the podium is taking shape already!

AndrewJM3D posted this in the Toronto Highrise section. It gives a good idea about what is situated where on this site. I gather that the glass podium is where the red crane is, the shorter tower will rise behind it, and the main tower next to the fire station.

When I look at the rendering, I see the taller tower going near the red crane, the podium going behind that, and the shorter tower going in the upper corner. I'm basing that off of no apparent street between the shorter tower and it's neighboring building, which appears to bee the same height as the six story glass building pictured. Plus, there appears to be a street going behind the taller tower in the rendering, which I presume would be the street that the fire station is on.
