London A Bus Ride Into Chelsea On A Rainy Day Part 1

This is the 1st of many photo threads of my trip to London. Chelsea was one one of those neighborhoods I just happened to visit by accident. We were tired of walking in the rain, and decided to hop on any local bus and enjoy the city. At first the bus was mostly empty so we our choice of seats (yay) and took the front row on the 2nd level. As we rode along, I was scopeing out the area for a coffeehouse to just sit and relax after an exhausting day checking out Harrods department store. Besides I wanted to eat my lunch we had picked up from the food court.

As we rode along I thought this hood looks interesting, so we decided to get off and check it out. Well lets just say it was a nice discovery, and now I think its one of my favorite spots in London. Its beautiful, active, yet sort of laid back, and not as chaotic as Knightsbridge where Harrods is located. I hope you enjoy the ride.

Yeah I know the next few shots are the same scene, but I wanted to capture the activity looking out the window from the coffeehouse.

Me trying to look like I'm deep in my thoughts, but as you see I'm not good at convincing anyone.

Here I go again capturing the moment with the same scene.

A cool little car, you see them all over London and Paris. Don't recall seeing these in the states, but this past week I've seen two here in Long Beach in my neighborhod (downtown area)

Thats all for now, more to come soon as I have over 600 photos I took in London. Next maybe Brixton, or could be Bayswater, and or Notting Hill.

Thanks!

Actually it was a nice change, since where I live we are having a drought. It rained 3 days out of the six we were in London, but still I was okay with that. Only this particular day it rained for hours and kind of hard. The other two days was mostly a light rain.

RE: little car in last photo

That small car in the last photo is a smart car. They've been here in Canada for some time and I believe have just been introduced into the states.

Absolutely Gorgeous...I love London..only got to spend 2 full days touring the city this past summer...and man..it wasn't enough.

Wish I could go back.

Your shots are exactly what I think when I think about London. Love it!

London is so charming and classy. I love London. It is the Mother Ship to cities such as Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, Toronto and Montreal.

It's almost a crime that I haven't visited London yet, being so close.
