R2, Zvolen east - Pstrusa

Most of the section can be seen in videos. Another delayed section, it was supposed to open in 2 months... It's becoming a rule to be late and without any penalty. Corruption everywhere...

Is there any info about the project? Will the section been opened for traffic this month (the project page still indicates 05/2016)?

According to article from March daily Pravda the new dates are as follows:

R2 Ruskovce - Pravotice: september 2016
R2 Zvolen východ - Pstruša: november 2016
D3 Svrčinovec - Skalité: beginning of 2017

Also, this section of D3 should be posted as following:
D3 Svrčinovec - Skalité 0,8 km
D3 Svrčinovec - Skalité 11,5 km [1st c/w]

You are welcome .

Actually, what I meant is western section of Svrčinovec - Skalité part, the part from the crossroad Svrčinovec up to the tunnel Poľana, which is constructed 2+2. Yes, this section is short. Further parts, first 11,5 km 1+1 from Poľana tunnel and second 3 km part up to the border to Poland will be opened together, hopefully at the beginning of 2017, construction works are pretty advanced, so let´s hope.

Yes, this one: http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=49...99;44846;58129. If OSM is right, about 300m could feature 2 carriageways after completion of this section.

Btw, any info about the neighboring section? According to the project page, it's still planned that construction works should begin in 2016... What's the estimated construction period?

I used the information from dialnice. szm. com, updated in July 2015. Sorry not to post full link.

Nevertheless, the construction of neighbouring section should begin in weeks, hopefully. This section will be 2+2, so the continuation up to the tunnel is quite logical. New government and new transport minister has according to old custom 100 days of "political peace", so they have about several weeks to perform. Construction period should be about four years, as there will be quite a few estacades and bridges, alltogether 24 on the site.

the smell of cartel is all around, but I hope Prešov bypass wont be delayed, because traffic situation got pretty bad there after D1 to Ružomberok is completed

AFAIK the proposal is just temporal (old signs were just translated to a new design). Amendment of respective decree that will reduce signs is foreseen.

Yes, the bids for the Prešov bypass in particular are extremely close, especially because it's a large figure. A range this small could be expected with a low two-digit figure, but not a € 360 million project.

This section requires construction of a 2 km tunnel, so the price is quite high.

Not only they are close, but the same 3 groups repeat in every tender and in each one of them is the lowest...

These tenders were in "competition" for almost a year now, they were made by previous minister Pociatek from political party SMER. He disappeared to abroad right after elections. Sooo...

Concessionaire needs about 12 weeks to conclude the financing of the project. Also some building permits have to be issued as well.



Then in another press report director of National Highway Agency states D3 Svrčinovec Skalité to be opened to traffic this year, so it seems that on this section will be just minor delays, if any:

The D4/R7 concession cost has also gone way down, from an earlier estimate of € 4.5 billion to € 1.87 billion. This is the cost over a period of 30 years, taking inflation into account.

Yes, some sections were also redesigned from 3+3 lanes to 2+2 lanes, maybe the design of the Danube bridge, which was orgininally more aesthetic, had been simplified, but that doesn t care that much as it will be outside city center. Then the exclusion of offshore companies in tender and construction as well as inclusion of EU funds, among other matters could make the price affordable.

Vedenie NDS sa rozhodlo zrušiť súťaž po jej vyhodnotení novým analytickým odborom, ktorý posudzuje zmluvy na základe princípu hodnota za peniaze (value for Money).

Predpokladaná hodnota zákazky bola podľa novej odbornej analýzy NDS chybne stanovená, keďže bola dopredu určená na najvyššej možnej cenovej hranici, ktorú povoľuje usmernenie Ministerstva dopravy, výstavby a regionálneho rozvoja SR.

Ak by predpokladaná hodnota zákazky bola určená správne, výsledná predpokladaná cena by sa znížila približne o 40 percent.
NDS vyhlási novú súťaž
„Nový analytický odbor posudzuje zmluvy a verejné obstarávania na základe princípu hodnota za peniaze (value for Money). Prioritne sa sústredíme na to, aby NDS nakladala s peniazmi hospodárne, efektívne a transparentne. Či už ide o investičné alebo prevádzkové náklady, všetky väčšie investície posúdia najprv analytici a ich záverom prispôsobíme konečné rozhodnutia,“ povedal Róbert Auxt, zastupujúci generálny riaditeľ NDS.

Novú súťaž na zabezpečenie stavebnotechnického dozoru na úseku D1 Budimír – Bidovce vyhlási NDS v najbližšom čase.

Na zrušenom obstarávaní na stavebnotechnický dozor na úseku diaľnice D1 Budimír – Bidovce bola predpokladaná hodnota zákazky určená v sume 5 234 897,53 eur. Víťazný uchádzač, združenie SD – Budimír, ponúkol sumu 4 608 260 eur. Podľa prepočtov analytického odboru by predpokladaná hodnota zákazky mala dosahovať 2 961 168 eur.
