It's combination of D3 - D1 - R3. D1 will be hopefully finished before 2015, majority of D3 too. R3 could be finished at least between D1 (near Martin) and currently U/C bypass of Horná Štubňa because it's in relatively simple terrain and they may use present road I/65 since it was built as half profile of cancelled motorway D65, but I'm not sure about it.

There are already some sections of D3 and common section of R3 and R1.

I doubt R3 between Horná Štubňa and R1 will be finished before 2015 and construction of R3 between Zvolen and H border definitely won't even start before 2015.

There is an IKEA about 4 kms north of here. Half of my room consists of IKEA stuff

I miss an Ikea. Other furniture shops in Zwolle are ridiculous expensive or have no large stockpile.

Well then, the reason why two lanes are in direction Žilina-Ružomberok and not the opposite is the altitude. Additional lanes, mostly for the trucks, are sometimes constructed on frequently used roads when you drive up to some steepy area.
Also, hraby, take care a bit of the English gramatics when you post.

Tunnel Višňové is in 3rd PPP packet and the agreement has been not signed yet. If the agreement will be signed this year and I hope so, the construction could be completed in four years period, sooner or later.

Some up-to-date statistics.

Following data has been published at SSC /Slovenská správa ciest, Slovak Roads Authority/ web page:

Motorways: 384 km
Expressways: 159 km, with divided direction lanes /mostly 2+2/: 133 km

Alltogether motorways + 2+2 lanes expressways: 517 km
Alltogether motorways + expressways: 543 km

Additionaly, under construction are about 70 km of motorways and expressways, financed from state budget and eurofonds, 57 km PPP projects, under PPP tender /construction and operation/ are 104 km.
Alltogether U/C: ca. 117 km

Well yeah, such jams appears quite frequently and mainly on fridays and sundays when there are more cars on D1 and some impatient idiots cause something similar which can be seen on video. Video shows one of such jams (2008) caused by accident of numerous cars. As a result of that not only D1, but also main road passing along D1 with towns Senec and Pezinok was in jam..At 10AM in direction to Bratislava..
