Cieszyn and Český Těšín sound remarkably similar...

This border station looks really ugly...it still represents the physical border. Time to dismantle it

i don´t know what did you ask

BiH doesn´t recognize Kosovo or Kosovo passport so if someone rom there wants to travel trough MNE and Croatia they will have to avoid BiH and it is only doable with ferry or boat.

It's good to see some other border crossings, rather than the European ones, for a change....

Not really. If not European, it's usually the US-Mexican border.

There are few places in the developed world (= high potential for pics) with so many borders than Europe.

I don't know if you have ever seen this picture. It represets the international border between Spain and Portugal in rural areas.
It is very sad the difference between both countries regarding the roads...

Welcome to Spain:

Welcome to Portugal:

To me it says very much nothing. Maybe that Spain renovated its road lately.

There are many roads like this in the border. We also have one of the smallest international bridges in the world hehe.

For further information search "El Marco, La Codosera" on Google Earth.

"1 people" means something like "1 nation". El Paso is probably full of Mexicans.

Ennis, thank you so much for your pictures! I'll add a couple of them taken in Badajoz, my city, which is very close to the border. I'm sorry if I'm a bit boring with them but I live so close to the Portuguese border and I like Portugal so much...

This is the old road. It is not used anymore except by pedestrians who wish to cross the border on foot:

And this is the highway. Two lanes in each direction:

To conclude, I'd like to include this picture taken in Olivenza (Badajoz) over the river Guadiana.
The bridge on the right was destroyed when Spain and Portugal were enemies so that people couldn't cross. Nowadays, as a proof of the friendship between both countries, a new bridge has been built (on the left side).
