There are a lot more problems on that border. Canadians are generally not the kind of people who want to risk their lifes to live and work in the US.

Maybe it's the other way round (Canadians scared by Americans, since USA has higher crime rates than Canada and free weapon ownership).

The only truly secure system is one that is powered off, cast in a block of concrete and sealed in a lead-lined room with armed guards - and even then I have my doubts. Gene Spafford.

Why not?

A lot of Canadians live in the States anyway. Some famous ones as well.

Jim Carrey, Justin Bieber, Bryan Adams, John Candy before he died and plenty more...

Point Roberts is on a peninsula south of Vancouver (Canada). Only reason it's in the U.S. is that a treaty decided a particular line of latitude would be the border and no one noticed it was there. You can only get to and from Point Roberts through Canada.

I'm surprised to see that that border's (I mean the Point Roberts bit of it) is that intense.

I've never been to Naples. It's not high on my list, although I'd like to see Pompeii.

I've warned you about that! We don't want to lose you again!

(Did you catch the Top Gear on Spain? Very depressing.)

Even though Naples is in a nice setting with the sea and mountains and also some fine architecture, it's a bit of a deprived crime ridden shithole...

No I didn't...

I wouldn't like to live in a house that is built right beside the border, unless it was within Shengen Area.... Those colourful Canadian houses, just next to the road that is within US borders, look bizarre. Maybe customs officers live there, who knows...
