Nope, sadly not. This trip is way too big for my budget
But he knows that I like to post some of his pictures to this forum. So I hope to get some more pictures of exotic borders and roads.

My great grandmother from my fathers side was actually Hungarian by the name Füzöszy (not sure if exactly like that spelled), born in former Austria-Hungary. She married a German, Wingert. They had 2 girls, one of them my grandmother, who married a Romanian. So in my family I heard all these 3 languages, predominately German by the elders with whom I also spoke German.

To conclude, I grew up in multi-ethnic Banat, actually despise Romanian nationalism and anti Hungarian propaganda and leave no occasion to combat the people that want to share it with me too.

Its good to know that you oppose the nationalism and that you have a mixed ethnic family tree! Thank you for sharing. Explanations, in other hand not needed, as we dont know each other.
What is wrong guys? Im only added my info and photo to this matter in the thread!
But if talking about border crossings and bridges, which became borderposts only 95 years ago. Like the one at Máramarossziget(Sighetu Marmației) next to the UA, readers shold know, that those bridges or infrastructure were there long before and built by Hungarians! Definitely not by Czech/Slovaks,Romanians,Polish or Ukrainians! Some say it is irrelevant who built those bridges and when.. Who decides for me,what is relevant? The posts are!! I say, it is became relevant, when you first mentioned it in your post.. Actually its started by you!

Also some of the incorrect things i wanted to reply on!
"There were many bridges over the Tisa river when that part of Ukraine was actually Slovakia, Poland and Romania. cinxxx"
-Slovakia didnt existed back then, only Czechslovakia(its not the same)..
-You didnt mentioned the time interval, so for the readers seems like you talking about the wider range of history. How should i know what did you meant,1918-present or earlier as well? That is why i replied on to clear those things!

It existed, but wasn't independent. However, AFAIK, that area wasn't a part of Slovakia, but Subcarpathian Rus.

Franco-British | Anglo-French border

Seen on the (apparently) well known Anglo-French remake of the (déjà vu) very famous Dano-Swedish TV series... :

Some of the "ouverture" scenes of This Franco-Brit/Anglo-French remake were really filmed inside the Eurotunnel(s) (at least according to the producers...) .

Shame it's not shown on normal TV in the UK, it's on Sky. Whereas the BBC does show the Danish/Swedish version.

I think they have, and they've even altered a few border lines and enclaves. But people who'd visit one day a year wouldn't see much difference.

This thread is going down the drain by the way. It's been weeks since it last hosted a bloody good argument. Mods? Do something!
