Only the D side, Chris posted it just a few hours ago. I think the difference has to do something with the fact that A52 is Autobahn and the Netherlands' road is not an autosnelweg.

Yeah, the Dutch part is an 'autoweg', like an expy - the N280.

State borders are fine with me. They're also borders, right? By the way, most European border crossings are also no more than US state borders, so why bother?

The Austrians started dismantling the infrastructure on Kittsee - Jarovce border with Slovakia. A big surprise as they were quite skeptical in Schengen enlargement towards eastern countries. ASAP I will go to check there and film it.

How about Slovak side? I wonder if the bumpy concrete will be fixed there.

Some pictures from the borders of Hungary. I don't want to directlink the pictures, because they weren't taken by me.

Hungary is an EU member since 01/05/2004, and a Schengen member since 21/12/2008.

Hungarian Republic signs in Esztergom. (H) - (SK)

Hungarian speed limits sign.

Hegyeshalom's old border station, now it's a Schengen border. (H) - (A)

Hegyeshalom, too. (H) - (A)

Fruili? Friuli-Venezia Giulia is the Italian autonomous region this (former) border crossing lies in, but the border crossing is called Fusine Laghi.
