Love the first one! You have old style, colorful, independance with martyre square as a symbol plus many skyscrapers... though I love Nareg's lebanese flag integration in the picture with the statue.

You all did a great job and thanks for participating!
I voted for Nareg's because it is easier on the eyes, rather than having many cropped images mixed together. Also, it's nice to see the flag in the banner! And, dont forget the SSC logo will cover part of the banner (lower left-hand corner), so Nareg's is designed perfectly so nothing gets covered.

hmm very hard choice, was choosing between number 1 and 5, but had to go for number 5 in the end. Not only easier on the eye, but the way the flag and Martyrs statue has been incorporated make the banner seem perfect for independance day. However number 1 by lirtain is great as well maybe we will see it as a banner for beirut later on

my second choice is # 1 or # 3. I like the flag made by people, very appropriate for Independance day.
#2 could have been better with a clearer picture of the downtown area, it looks foggy...maybe due to smog! Last edited by kheireddine; November 11th, 2007 at 11:00 PM. |

Also, I would like to thank all members who voted for banner #5 and the rest of the banners. Here, we work as a team for Beirut and Lebanon. |

As I said earlier, it appears there was a mix up on part of the Admins since the Jounieh banner was shown again a couple days ago (two Lebanon banners in one week wont be acceptable) and we never received any real confirmation that the Independence Day banner will even be shown at all...
