Seoul in snow looks great.

I had a friend who lived in Dadaepo. Quite an inconvenient area (by Busan standards,) but very scenic.

Heavy snowfall: Cars parked on a side street are covered with snow, while vehicles on the road in the background are stuck in Daegwallyeong, Gangwon Province, Monday. More than 50 centimeters of snow hit the region over the weekend.

Jan. 21, SEOUL, South Korea -- A group of Taiwanese children visiting South Korea enjoy the snow at a traditional Korean village in Seoul on Jan. 21. A heavy snowfall alert was issued for the central area of the Korean Peninsula earlier in the day. (Yonhap)

Korea deserves more tourism campaigns and be more noticed in the world. Korea has some of the best beaches along its coast with awesome scenery and great infrastructure to go with it. Jeju island and Busan Haeundae should be more known and should appear more on tourism articles around the world. I'm so sick and tired of hearing ads and promotions about the Bahamas, Cancun, and Thailand beaches and Miami, California beaches...same old stuff

Baekryeongdo island
('Back-ryoung-doh' in american english way)
which is the most northwest island of south korea,.. and even the island is closer to north korean mainland rather than south korean one.
