actually, to the communist regimes, the 'grandeur' look seems indispensable element about their propaganda architectures.. meanwhile South Korean architectures mostly lay stresses on efficiency and function rather than overwhelming architectural outlooks so far and therefore so boring.. hmm

I feel sad to see the devastated North Korean landscapes... they also belong to Korean Peninsula, but what did make them look so different from the south?
