The project did change a bit since this map.
I don't think that we could speak of RER or metro for this network (expect for the lmine 14 extension).
It is closer to the metro in my opinion but nobody know how will be called those lines and what transportation company will operate it.
There will request for proposal.
Obviously RATP hopes to win system operation.

Is a newer map available?

BTW, Grand Paris Express will probably suck up all the available funds for network expansion in Île-de-France for at least a decade, so any other proposals for network expansion in Île-de-France that do not already have approved funding are unlikely to be funded before about 2025 or so.

One possible exception would be if the City of Paris were to fund extension of an existing Métro line within the city proper, for example, extension of Line 5 to Place de Rungis. However, the current mayor of Paris is so hostile to the Métro that a change of administration probably would have to occur for any such possibility to be realized.

So, other than the already funded extension of RER E from Haussmann – St-Lazare to La Défense, I think it will be a long time before we see any other extension of the RER network.

The interior looks really similar to the MI2N stock.

I love the new train, but I think they could have chosen a better design for the seating.

Finally after having waited for 30 minutes four times in three days on the platform of Gare de Lyon (it is the only station with a single island platform in the central section), I took a MI09.

Trains are air conditioned like the MI2N

Rueil-Malmaison, the train was bound to Saint-Germain-en-Laye but I couldn't go furter than the zone 3. This station is the last on zone 3.

Rueil malmaison will be a huge place for affairs for the future because big banks have their activities there.

I used it in last may and this zone is a vaste land in development

Sorry if I posted this question before but I couldn't find an answer. When staying in Paris this summer I noticed, to my astonishment, that "trains de banlieue" and RER trains are not the same thing. Can someone explain me the difference, please?

There are also suburban trains serving the surface platforms of the main railway terminal.
About 1 million people use those trains everyday.

The suburban trains are named by network.
: Gare du Nord
: Gare Saint Lazare
: Gare Montparnasse
: Gare de l'Est
: Gare de Lyon
: La Défense - La Verrière (this one doesn't serve any terminal railway station in central Paris)

We see the traffic movement of Saint Lazare terminal, the busiest suburban rail station if we don't include the RER.

The newest rolling stock of the non-RER suburban train, the Z50000.

A much older train, RIB-RIO
