Big mess on the RER E in early afternoon due to a power failure on the Central Paris tunnel, trains are redirected to Gare de l'Est
"Delay 40 minutes" can be seen in the screen for the train to Tournan

Many trains now have maps that feature the new station Rosa Parks which will open in December.

@VincentB_ thanks for the help so far: keep me posted if there are more diagrams in detail (e.g. side detail of cab front) – I've actually found and bought the relevant issues of La Vie du Rail that featured the MS 61 diagrams, so I can study them in further detail.

The project of the link between Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est is back
The STIF (Paris Region transport Autority) has published a study about the construction.

Several hypotheses are envisaged.
Improvement of streets (scénario A) or tunnels (scénarios B and C) and this study is clearly in favor of the tunnel option (scénario C).
The difference between scenario B and C is that the the scenario B is only creates a connection to an existing tunnel under the platforms on the back of the station while the scenario also creates link to the main passenger hall.

Scenario C is favored.
The little blue square in the middle is Magenta RER E station

Cost in million of euros.

Closer look of the scénario C
Platforms in red: CDG Express

They envision the opening of the tunnel for 2012.

Gare du Nord

They put screens showing departures and RER B and D, suburban trains H and K and TER (bound to Laon, Beauvais) in the main hall at Gare du Nord.

Renovation of the RER underground hall

Unfortunately the platforms are still dark.

My apologies... I actually thought I was typing in the French forums when Minato posted those pics. But just in case anybody didn't understand what I wrote:

"It looks incredible! Thank you for the pics, Minato!"

Not hard to translate
