Similar skylines and street scenes

Since a number of cities tend to have skylines and street scenes that are similar to one another, this thread is where you can show them.

Herzel St, Tel Aviv

Parke Ave, NYC

I think TalB's comparison is completely fine... it's the kinda feeling when you're at that place... which reminds you of something, somewhere else.

I agree, when he said similar, it doesn't mean they are the same. It just creates a feeling of similarity between places in a person't mind.

I like this thread.

Get off the guy's back for having an imagination and sharing it with us. There are plenty of times when I have been some place and it reminded me of another place, sometimes one totally different.

He didn't say they are similar skylines or cities or anything like that. It simply reminds him of the NY scene when he is on that street in Tel Aviv. Get off your high horses.

For those who don't like this thread, then don't answer it, b/c I didn't force you to. The point to show places of cities that are similar to each other, and they don't have to be exactly the same. It is no surprise that cities do tend to have similar scenes. As for the pics I have shown of NYC and Tel Aviv, both the Shalom Meir Tower and Metlife Bldg stand over the streets that you see in front of them as well as having a similar shape, though the Metlife Bldg is more ellipitical as oppossed to being a box like the Shalom Meir Tower.
