Some of the EMV trains, the so-called Mađari (Hungarians) were refurbished:

And the new Talgo's were on a test drive to the speed up to 124 km/h

And the video clip

Also the second Talgo train unit will come in december.

Great, great great!

Are there any information on which route the talgo will run? And will there be more trains in Bosnia now (Like today there are just 10 trains a day going off from Sarajevo )
Thanks

Phillip

cuz Bosnia doesn't have any high-speed railway whatsoever. Normally trains are much, much slower than 124 kph

Does anybody know anything about the schedule for this trains? Which route etc.

There is a plan for new Talgo routes called "3B". Beograd (Belgrade), Budimpesta (Budapest), Bec (Vienna) will be the new destinations from Sarajevo.

By the end of 2011 we will have 9 new Talgo trains. Four will be night trains.

When will they introduce Vienna, and what about Zagreb and Munich? and will the talgo trains go to Budapest from 6th december?

Hmm I dont know when they introduce a route to Vienna (via. Zagreb). It is planed to use night trains on this route .
A Talgo train to Munich is currently not planned...Budapest maybe in 2011.
From 6th decembre the Talgo train will be use on the route Sarajevo-Ploce or Sarajevo-Zagreb.

Well, Vienna - Munich is only about 4 hours by railjet. If they time the night train so that a convenient connection exist that will be sufficient, I think.

Which trains will that be? The day train Zagreb - Sarajevo - Ploce (trains 396/397), the night train Zagreb - Sarajevo (trains 398/399) or the day train Sarajevo Ploce (trains 390/391)
Or a new service?

Ups I'm sorry...the train will be use on the route Sarajevo-Beograd (day train), not Sarajevo-Zagreb/Ploce.

This train currently just has 2 coaches. I wonder if they can fill a Talgo set...

I would say a Ploce-Sarajevo-Zagreb train would be more promising.

Regarding Munich and Vienna. Why not run every other day to either Munich or Vienna?

Hey,

thanks for your answers. So, I got this right. From this december there will be the Talgo on Sarajevo-Beograd, and thats it? Just the day connection, or will they have a new night conenction as well? And any changes in the schedule?
