Regarding Munich and Vienna. Why not run every other day to either Munich or Vienna?
Because currently the Bosnian Talgo train don't have a premission for Austria and Germany.

Yes only Sarajevo-Beograd (day connection), next year Zagreb and maybe Budapest and Vienna.

The first night train comes in September 2011

dnevni = day train
nocni = night train

Doesn't anybody find it odd that a train needs to be transported by road?

Odd, yes, but it happens all the time now. Refurbished belgian shunthing
locos are being shipped to Italy by road now right while we speak.

Rail paths have become too expensive for shippings like this. In most cases
this is caused by speed restrictions, either for technical reasons or
because of lack of certification.

Does anybody know if they change the fare for the Belgrade-Sarajevo trip?

Or do they start to sell obligatory reservations?

Since Vienna is one of the largest Ex-Yugoslavian cities () it would be very fitting to see the train go there.

@ JumpUp: The prices will probably be 20-30% higher than the regular ones, and I assume they are gonna introduce the reservations.

@ Rheintram: Mother Austriaaaa

Why does the Talgo train have cabs on front of the train (see the wipers) while it's always pulled by a loc?

No.
But if the train is propelled in to a station from the rear someone in radio contact with the loco driver can stand there.

Hmm sorry...I have some bad news for you
The first Talgo train will be in service in February...and not in Decembre.
They have some problems with the premission for the Talgo train in Croatia and Serbia.
