Nice pics.

I like the trams in Berlin.
But they are only in the eastern part. There are no trams in West Berlin

isn't there a line going to Wedding ?

Altough the trams look rather boring from the outside the interior is quiet good

Yes it is. The tram line M13 is also reaching the western part. The last station is Virchow-Klinikum in Wedding. Sadly it´s the only line which is reaching West Berlin.

as these tunnels are not connected to the other berlin u-bahn networkd, I still dont get how they want to get the trains down there?

Over the stairs???????

Ich antworte mal in Deutsch da du deiner Signatur nach zu Urteilen Deutsch kannst.

Es gibt einen speziellen Einlass....eine Grube oder wie man das auch immer nennen soll am Hauptbahnhof. Dort werden sie dann heruntergelassen....die Züge oder der Zug(war es nur einer?) haben dann dort auch sozusagen ihr eigenes Betriebswerk wo sie dann gewartet und repariert werden. Meiner Meinung nach ein viel zu großer Aufwand.....da könnten sie den Rest der Strecke erstmal fertigbauen und dann alles eröffnen, aber nein...wir müssen uns das in Berlin alles immer so kompliziert machen!

I seriously love the wide yellow trains. Both the old and the newer styles are pretty great. The whole system has a very cool, distinctive character. This all makes me want to go back to Berlin now, it's such an amazing city. I'm going to try and plan a trip there.
