was around there just now and noticed site is pretty busy. I believe the greens all over the building may materialize. Check out Swiss Garden Residence. Creepers are starting to crawl along

Paris is trying to transform Eiffel Tower into the Tallest Tree. (324m height)

This could be one of the world's tallest tree next.

Ssangyong enters Malaysian luxury market with two big contracts

The Malaysian luxury construction market looks to have an emerging new player, as Ssangyong Engineering and Construction Company was recently awarded another contract in Malaysia. The company won a US$145 million contact for two serviced apartment buildings with developer Damansara City Snd last week, and won a similar Malaysian project two months ago worth US$127 million, according to the Korea Herald. The most recent contract specifies the construction of two buildings in the Damansara Heights neighborhood of Kuala Lumpur, one of the ritziest parts of town.

The buildings will be 30 storeys apiece, containing 268 units. The units will range in size, from the smallest at 111 sq m all the way up to expansive 647 sq m units. The outer walls on the bedrooms and living rooms will be entirely glass, providing impressive panoramas of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. These particular buildings will be part of a larger complex, estimated for completion in April of 2014, and will feature a swimming pool and top of the line ballroom.

For the contract awarded two months ago, issued by the Singaporean developer Wingtai Asia Group’s Malaysian subsidiary Hartamaju Sdn, Ssangyong E&C will build Le Nouvel Residence, comprised of one 43-story and one 49-story building housing 197 units, across from the Petronas Towers by August 2014. The project will be located in central Kuala Lumpur.

Designed by the renowned architect Jean Nouvel, the Le Nouvel Residence’s two buildings will be linked by a bridge on the 34th floor. While the two contracts won this year are the first serviced residences Ssangyong E&C is building in Malaysia, the portfolio of Ssangyong E&C’s projects in the Southeast Asian nation contains a diverse range of buildings.

Since the late 1980s, Ssangyong E&C has built a variety of buildings in Malaysia including the Sarawak State Mosque, a hospital and the Penggawa housing project.

Good to see the Le Novel finally getting off the ground, this is gonna be another tall condo block facing the four towers of KLCC (Maxis, PTT 1 & 2, Petronas 3)!

Btw, seems like many projects in KL are using that concrete pump thingy that rises with the building, don't you think so? It's that yellow equipment on the rooftop, if you didn't notice...
