You beat me to posting, LondoniumLex. Excavation has started and progressed about 3 feet.

I look forward to seeing more new supertalls in this stunning image.

P.S.: The hills of Westchester and Connecticut look great.

Why are you hell bent on posting the above image on every thread? People are here to look for updates not look at your non informative post of midtown. Yes it’s a nice image but it doesn't warrant being posted in nearly every thread here.

The Baccarat looks fantastic. It is really a nice tower, especially seeing it in person. Sooo looking forward to Verre.

The only sad thing is that Verre could have been truly epic with the extra 200 ft, and though 1,050 ft is nothing to sneeze at with its much taller neighborhood fellow supertalls it just won't have near the impact in the skyline it could have. Too bad, because it's the closest to Steinway as not being just an impressive tower but a work of art in its own right.

I had an excellent view of the site from the north this week. As you can see, this is officially U/C.

If any permanent part of the building has been installed, it is under construction. This includes pilings as they are attached to the building.

This is in 'prep' mode since the art museum is now demolished.

I guess on SSC it's core+superstructure vertical.

There is a pile-driver on site. I'm not sure if it's being used for superstructure piling.

U/C is when they're working on the foundations. Digging is prep.
