I was thinking this would never get build. I'm really happy. This is going to be such a jewel!

Given the shape of this building. Wonder where the crane stands.

Such a beautiful building, I'm just a little upset it was downsized from the original height

This model popped up on my instagram feed!

Some interesting towers to be seen on it! (Eg between steinway and 432 pa - appears to be roughly 280m tall!)

People say it is perfect for NYC and yeah it is, but I think it would be perfect in Chicago, too. Other skylines not so much, though, just those two.

I think it would fit in Seattle, Philadelphia, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and maybe even San Francisco and Miami. Not so much in L.A. or Boston though.

I think this tower fits well in a city with a well defined orthogonal street block grid like New York and Chicago.

Yeah that was my thought, too. It would look best with very "ordered" surroundings.

Hmmm interesting point, I agree too. I think it works well in more of a rustic city like NYC than a clean cut one like San Fran too.

My opinion is based on how it would fit in with the buildings that currently exist in the cities listed. Coincidentally (or maybe not) they also have well-defined grids. Boston certainly doesn't.

Actually this would look great in Chicago and complement Hancock Center. I don't think this would work in most other cities in the US or even the world. Maybe Paris? In any case, it will fit in nicely here in Midtown especially with future supertalls like Steinway.

Any body have all the height and dimensions of this building. I might try and make a model of it out of balsa wood and maybe paint it or not but would need some good references and details.
