^A new extension of MoMA. Expect something clean and glassy.

Sorry to bump this thread, but since a lot of the other supertalls in the vicinity have gotten updates recently, how is this building doing?
Construction on this should be pretty interesting, so an update would be nice.

The shaping back has started. Just think about on how massive this already is and what is still to come. Ons of the best towers in NY going up right now. Looking forward.

The cross-bracing is already not matching up with the model. I wonder what the final product will look like?

Base looks the same. Everything going as planned.
Not sure if those renders were ever posted but man do I wish I could live in that duplex...

And enter the building in style. This building is truly one of a kind

I wonder when this one will go vertical.
Construction of the base is already ongoing for so long...

The bones look good so far, I love that it is pushed out a little from the streetline and that the grids and braces start so low. If the cladding and glass are as advertised in the renders, this is the best looking new skyscraper since the 30's ... amazing. When this and 111 57th really get going vertical (thus past some of the mid-rises), we are going to have two iconic beauties rising at the same time. It will be cool to watch them form and see the look of both compared to the renders. This will be amazing from the street.

I'm still happy to see this going up purely because we first heard about this.. in what.. mid 2000s? Meanwhile.. a recession hit the fan.. many financial problems.. the height got reduced (which sometimes means troubles in a sense that it could end up being reduced to zero m xD..) and then.. 10 years later.. we see at least 5 stories of the ground of a such original building!

The Dark Knight rises!!
I can't express how excited I am to see this tower rise.
ILNY's pictures 1 and 3 almost look like an art installation in progress. And that cladding.... Absolutely love it!!
