Yeah....for the moment,i don't find the spell of the renderings..
Too smooth,heavier while less brutal...
For now, I reserve judgment.

Is the curtain wall, including the windows, made out of plastic?

Stop with this bs please. Obviously curtain wall on a 1000+ feet tower is not made out of plastic.
Glass and dark metal.
Go and see it in person, it's one of the nicest looking facades under construction at the moment.

Spot on.

Frankly, I doubt us forumers will even need to lol. This is one of the most photographed sites in the city. An easy, daily or weekly flickr search will probably provide us with many fabulous photos.

It's crazy to think that 111 W57th St and Tower Verre (I believe) will be out of the frame of the pic above. They both look so humble and cute now.

You're definitely right about that, and I expect we'll get mountains of those flickr dumps over the course of the next couple years. But most tourists aren't going to take great construction photos, like we get from Tectonic and other forum members who know where to look, what to shoot, and how to wring the most out of a DSLR.

It's going to look absolutely marvelous once finished! Exciting construction activities, they shape this beauty perfectly. (where is my red wine cheers emoji?)

Jesus, don't post RW's photos here. He's banned from this site and regularly insults it and our members.

As long as there is nothing insulting in the image I don't see the problem. It's not like we are financially supporting him by taking his pictures.
