^ Great find. You can see all the CP towers rising. CP Tower and 220 CPS all the way to the left and Steinway finally making its presence felt. All that anticipation is finally bearing its fruits. It's that time people.

On a side note, I wonder if Steinway is gonna catch up to TV and the CP Tower, it should be rising pretty quickly from now on.

^From 1166 6th Avenue? Awesome view, several of my favorite skyscrapers there.

Yeah, sweet view, and I love that you can see the "XYZ" buildings in that picture. Cool towers.

This is going to be one of the greatest towers built in our lifetimes. Possibly the greatest ever built, its a shame it was cut down. Either way this building is no joke.

I love the XYZ buildings, I'd love to get a group together and do a group cosplay based on them. I already did 1290 6th Avenue, right behind 30 Rock, and won a workmanship award for it.

I'm a fan of 1166- maybe I should take advantage of my short and stocky physique and dress up as that one, but I might have to gain some muscle mass first, lol. 1166 looks like it could kick ass and take names. I see lots of black in my future if I do that one!

Construction really hasn't changed that much in half a century (or more). It's still rather low-tech and labor intensive.

It'll happen. In 50 years they'll be 3D-printing these buildings.

All the developments going on in Long Island City will make that 5 massive clusters.
