Why are you people jumping the gun. All the latest news about this building was nothing but good. All that need to happen now is it's approve. And there hasn't been any news about that for months. You want be hearing anything else about the building to sometime next year.

I'm hoping this gets approved as well. It sounds like it has a very good chance at the full 1250' being approved (the back up plan is a tower a little over 1000', but it's really a bland tower compared to this beauty when looking at the elevations, although that's quite possibly a placeholder). It's a very controversial tower, so of course it's path to approval is going to be a little more rocky than, say, the GiraSole (or even 1WTC, which had the explicit backing of the State/PANYNJ/the City/the Feds that got it through so easily regardless of the controversy), but so far eveything is looking up.

I really hope this gets built. It's an instant classic (much like BofA, IMO, but even more impactful).

common man, just because the building ain't symmetrical. But non-symmetrical buildings are the beauty in the 21st century for sure. NYC is getting all the futuristic buildings shaping the skyline now.

Probably my favourite tower design ever. This is one development I'd love Toronto to steal or copy.

wow awesome tower. I'm from Houston, I've been to NY twice now and I'm going again for Christmas. I wouldn't wanna live in NY but I loooooooooooooooove going there to visit. There is no place like New York. Amazing city.
