Not for a while. Redesigning something at a shorter height while maintaining the same proportions requires a lot of very complex engineering changes.

If that is the case then why the hell is thread receiving posts each day. It seems to me that these posts would be nothing more than senseless words, that is until we receive the next renderings.

wow thanks was wondering how the two together will look like. the verdict is awesome. love how both towers honer the setbacks of the historical buildings. and with there slender core's they look like a modern extension of the wider bases of the central park buildings.

The second Extell tower will be visible in that shot and should be taller than Carnegie 57 and Torre Verre. 220 CPS also will be visible.

As HK99 correctly noted, Extell has assembled a site that's 25% larger (in terms of air rights) than Carnegie 57. The site is one block west of Carnegie 57 and all buildings have been emptied except for one tenant, a supermarket, which occupies one of the buildings.

This will change the view totally. 2 very beautyful towers and much higher than the surrounding buildings.

I do not understand, because the Tower Verre have to have 1050ft tall, in another building closer to the ESB is 1200ft tall (15 Penn Plaza Project). I think unfair to the MoMa tower.

yeah that's pretty dumb, especially when considering the fact that the same woman (amanda burden) who nearly killed tower verre, is now all for 15 penn.
