Changed the status to PREP.

Nice to see this coming along, finally another quality skyscraper coming to Manhattan!

(In contrast to 432 Park... Haha, sure, you got it.)

This will rival Shanghai Tower for skyscraper of the decade. What it lacks in height it makes up for exceedingly in style and class.

I'm gonna try and go back to the site today, snag a photo of the Baccarat Tower crane across the street and see if there's anything new going on here.

Edit: I agree with skyscrapercitizen, it seems this tower is pretty universally loved. Hopefully I'll have some good news.

I love most boxy towers and don't like most nonboxy towers, however, there are exceptions on both sides. For example, I love this building, the Seoul Lotte Tower or 15 Penn even though they are not boxy and I don't like the Sino Steel Tower or 56 Leonard even though they are boxy

Imagine 225 W 57th in that photo.

Also, 250 E 57th, 105 W 57th, and 220 CPS all should be over 200m too.

Wow I am so happy to see that they're already preparing the site . Perhaps one of the most iconic buildings in NYC once completed
