I told you i had a big break in Cheb. We went to the asia market and that takes time for a dutchman who doesnt want to spend money. And we had to spent al out last CZ money on alcohol! Only on the German autobanh we drove 145 km/h.

From Susice to Cheb we couldnt drive faster than 90 km/h because there arent any highways on that route.

My longest non-stop was from Metz (F) to Purmerend (NL), as part of a longer journey back home from holiday in Spain. 500 km in the dark of the night, with 2 passengers asleep and the radio on very low volume...
The total journey of 1800 km had taken 19 hours of travelling, stops included (of which the last was in Metz, of course).

1900 km

Lahore (Pak) to Kashgar (CHN), stopping only once after 1100km, on the border.

Nothing but natural beauty, all along the way.

Longest alone: Düsseldorf - Budapest, about 1.100 km. I stopped sometimes for taking fuel, or for rest 10 minutes.
Longest not alone: Budapest - Copenhagen via Vienna - Würzburg - Hamburg - Kolding. About 1.800 km, two drivers but I was awake all through the way :-)

Last Sunday in June. End of a long-weekend road trip. Was in Erie, Pennsylvania, that morning, explored along Lake Erie (Between Chautauqua County, New York, and Ashtabula County, Ohio), then started home (Philadelphia) about noon. Didn't track mileage but it was probably about 600 miles - I did fill up three times.

I don't need to do that too often, but it was enjoyable enough.

I can't drive yet ... Next year will be
My longest trips are:
By bus: Huesca-Pisa (Italy), 1280 km, we left Huesca at 7 PM and arrived to Pisa at 11 AM. With 4 stops (One in Spain, twice in France and another one in Italy)
By car: Cambados-Huesca, with a detour to Sanabria lake, a stop in Palencia and another stop for sleep in Burgos. Just a bit under a megameter (1000 km) in 24 hours.
As a co-driver, all the way (I made part of the above one as co-driver): Toledo-Huesca, with a stop for piss. 470 km in 5 hours.

Longest with only stops for filling up diesel and going to the toilet (and taking a 15 minutes nap): 2600 km going through 16 countries in 23 hours and 21 minutes.
Longest with 2 stops for sleeping: From Andøya, Norway - Kjeller, Norway - De Lier, The Netherlands - Daya Nueva, Spain. That is approx 5000 km according to Google.

990 km from Ljubljana to Budapest and back in one day. I wasn't paying attention to the distance, so I regret for not having driven another 10 km around Ljubljana when I returned home.

Last year I drove from Slovenia to Zwolle in about 11 hours (1,150 kilometers). I think it helps if traffic is not heavy, it's must easier to drive, although completely deserted roads can be boring as hell.

I once drove 1,250 kilometers on one day from near Le Puy to Zwolle. However, half the distance was non-motorway, so I was kind of busted in Southern Belgium. I stopped there for about 15 minutes reading a book, before I got on the road again.

The longest I've driven non-stop was about 6 hours from Aabenraa in Denmark to Zwolle, via Kiel and the east side of Hamburg.

Longest, with no stopping, took about nine hours and started in Tilburg in the Netherlands and ended up in Zabrze/Poland. Distance circa 1100km. Actually, I had to slow down on D/PL border. An officer just waved with his hand letting me carry on going. It happened long before "Shengen" was introduced in Poland.

Several times a year, I do Poland-England trip using wide variety of connections. A longest one had began in Portsmouth went through Boulogne sur mehr, St Omer, Brussel, Louxembourgh, Nurnberg, Prague to Bielsko-Biala. About 2000 km with countless number of breaks taken. It took more than 30 hours. I, of course, drove by myself.

Shortest trip from London to Zabrze (1600km)did not last longer than 16hrs, inc. ferry crossing.

I did Sweden once in my own. Gdansk-Hamburg- Kristianstad (1200km) with several smoking/coffee breakes.

Another time I went to central Sweden from Bielsko-Biala through Berlin Hamburg, Malmo to small town Sveg. I think, it was more than 2000km and hundreds kilometres had been driven out of motorway. But, on that trip I had a co-driver.

Well, really longest car's trip I was brave enough to make, was 4000km to Algeciras visiting Barcelona in Spain and come back another 4000km through Madrid to my home town Bielsko-B. This time, with 2 auxiliary drivers.
