I was a kid but my parents drove from Houston, TX to Toronto, ON. Google says it would be 1,574 miles or 2,533 km. However that is the shortest distance, we went a much different route.

I vaguely recall visiting Niagara Falls on that trip along with puking in the car in Buffalo, so I would add another 500 miles to the route.

I was obviously too young to remember where exactly we went.

Here's Mine:

I've driven no where near the same length as a lot of you guys have.

My longest drive would be roughly 150 kilometers of continuous, non-stop driving. I started from Bais City, Negros Oriental Province to Carcar City, Cebu Province.

Both locations are within the Philippines, specifically within the Visayas island Group.

The trip spanned two islands, Negros and Cebu.

From Tarragona-Oslo in 23 hours, aprox 2850 km. Only stops for refueling/food, First stop at "La Jonquera" Spanish-French border, then next stop close to Dijon, then Karlsruhe, and then Lübeck. 70 km from home I needed more diesel again, and took a short stop close to swedish/norwegian border.

My father drove from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Santiago, Chile. It was almost 3,300 km in 5 days.

I drove from Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil to Lencois, Brazil. It was more than 1,400 km, I remember I could drive 6 hours non-stop, which was something about 600 km.

The longest I drive at least once is year is Frankfurt/Germany to Coimbra/Portugal which is between 2100 and 2200 kilometers depending on the route I take. It takes usually between 19 and 20 hours and is always a great pleasure.

Looks like you took I-80 the entire way. I've driven from Seattle, Wa to Grand Junction, Co (approx 1200 miles) WITH MY NAGGING WIFE IN THE CAR, in about 17 hours straight through. We just stopped for fuel and dinner in Boise, Idaho, but otherwise kept on moving in our mitsubishi galant rental car. I swore that I'd never make that drive non-stop again as it really wears on your nerves and overall health. That distance needs 3-4 days in order to take in the scenic beauty and arrive a non-nervous wreck!

Watch out for California Hwy Patrol near the Mt Shasta turnoff. I make that drive 2-3 times a year (Seattle to San Francisco via I-5) and always see state troopers pulling people over just south of Ashland.

Absolutely stunning country, though!

Paris (France) - Agadir (Morocco) : 2850 km
34 hours including Gibraltar Strait crossing by ferry in 2004.

With the new Tangier harbour and the new highways, it could easily be 29h.

You drive that kind of distance in one day?

Two weeks ago I drove 1300 km in a row with two stops of 5 minutes. I say that's already pretty insane.
