I did not have any other pictures yet.

Yeah, I realised that, however on my later visits to Vienna I have noticed that the network has indeed increased in the last decade.

It has indeed, continuously. You are of course right.

Here is a cool map showing how:

Enough to confuse me first not to know which direction to take because both the last stations were different (newer) from the ones I remembered.

a 7 km long section, that took over 40 (!) years and costs an absolute fortune and stuck to it is more pork than there's actual beef

when they started construction they said it would be running by 2009, now we're happy if it's done by 2011-12

if we are really lucky, by 2020 the first section of the M5 will be built, and maybe some additions will be made to M3 (~1km) and M4 (2kms to SW and maybe the second section to Bosnyák square), and thats it

Could you guys discuss the Budapest M4 project in this thread, please? That'll keep this thread focused on the Vienna system

Sehr interessant! Wie lang ist das U-bahnnetz jetzt? Wie viel wird es wachsen?

(Ich glaube, dass urbanrail.net ein wenig veraltet ist, deshalb frage ich so viel)

Danke und Tschüss!

I believe Urbanrail is up-to-date (the webmaster is Austrian after all...)?
