Do you have any information about the ULF trams? They look like an interesting design.

Some info from wikipedia:

The Ultra Low Floor tram (ULF) is a low-floor tram currently operating only in Vienna, Austria, with the lowest floor-height of any such vehicle in the world.

In contrast to regular low-floor trams, the floor in the interior of ULF is low enough to be at the same height as a sidewalk (about 18 cm or 7 inches above the road surface), which makes access to trams particularly easy for passengers in wheelchairs or with perambulators. This configuration required a completely new design of the undercarriage, and the axles had to be replaced by a complicated electronic steering of the traction motors. Auxiliary devices are installed largely under the carís roof.

The ULF technology went into testing in the early 1990s. Since 1998, ULFs have been in use on Vienna's tram network, built by a consortium composed of Siemens and Elin in Vienna. As of mid-2006, 152 cars were in operation, and another 150 cars ordered in mid-2004 are due to enter into service in 2007. The producers also hope for orders from other cities, the prospects for which now seem to be improved in light of the technical problems with Siemensís Combino tram.

Do they de-rail often? I ask because many cities' attempts at low floor cars have had issues with de-railing on curves and at high speeds.

No, they don't de-rail. At least, I have never heard of any problems of this kind.
They are working fine.

Fantastic photos stefanguti! I was in Vienna for my honeymoon a couple of years ago and it was so easy to get around the city without any hassle. Our city could learn a thing or two from your system. The photos relive good memories I had of Vienna.

Webeagle12: first time in Vienna?
yes, actually first I'm going to Innsbruck for 2-3 nights, spend a day in Salzburg, and couple days (2-3)in Vienna, and then I proceed to another country for 9-11 days. The only things that is sucks, I absolutely cant speak German. Do you live in Vienna? because I had couple questions (maybe 200-300) that I would like to ask, if that possible.

Thanks for the information. Looks interesting because it seems like the tram is passing right in the concourse level of the subway, where the shops are...I've never seen something like it, so I would love to see it first hand
