Amman the beautiful

What nice renderings! I think Amman will be one of the most charming cities in the Middle East.

Does Amman get many tourists? When I was in Jordan about 9 - 10 years ago we skipped Amman spent all our time in Petra and down in Aqaba.

Is there much "night life" - clubs, bars, discoteques, late night cafes, etc - in Amman? Also, how are Gay people treated there???

Thanks!

The night-life is great! Plenty of clubs, bards, and late night cafes/hooka bars. The transportation at night is also extremely easy. As for gays, well, I have really seen any openly homosexual people in Amman. I can't imagine though that they'll be treated with open arms.

Amman in a couple of years time you say?

Does this mean most/some of the buildings are well under way in construction?

Looks very good by the way!

Why not? If you have anything against this member, I think you should take it in a PM, not in a public thread. Thank you!

just so you know jordan is one the two countries that does not punish homosexuals relations ..

but the gay night life is bettre in beirut that is a fact !!!!!!!!

if you want to visit a middle east country with a gay focus let say you should go to beirut

for north Africa Tunis in the summer is great too there are two or 3 gay bars not officially gays of course but gay friendly ... beaches and a lot of cafes too ..

OK, I guess it's time we end this ethnic/political discussion, and get back on track discussing the future architectural views of Amman!
