Hardly a surprise considering your location. I guess everyone has the right to their opinion. Personally I think the Freedom Tower is probably the worst of them all.

I agree, it's design is boring and the spire is too long!

Burj Dubai should be cool, as it will define the city.
CHICAGO TOWER IS HIDEOUS. THE IMAGES OBVIOUSLY MAKE THE TOWER SEEM NICER THAN IT IS. IN REALITY, THE BUILDING WILL BE GIANT WITHOUT ANY SETBACKS. THE GLASS WILL GET DIRTY, AND THE BUILDING'S SHADOW WILL DARKEN THE IMMEDIATE NEIGHBORHOOD. ALSO, THE BUILDING SHOULD NOT BE BUILT IN CHICAGO.CHICAGO IS NOT THE SKYSCRAPER CAPITAL OF THE WORLD, THAT TITAL GOES TO NEW YORK OR HONG KONG. GET REAL, THE BUILDING WILL RUIN THE CITY

Yes, the design is terrible, but it's better than the original towers. Please don't say "oh nothing compares to the original towers, they were beautiful," as the towers were monstrosities. They were only 25% windows, and the rest was a cheesy facade. They were also 1 acre per floor all the way up, no setbacks. That's a huge area. THe buildings blocked light from the immediate area. What the towers DID have going for them was their symbolic sillouette and famous, rectangular shape.

Hm good point, i guess the FT might be lower as to not block light, NYC is very dense, almost unpracticly dense.

Mine is actually the Trump tower in Chicago, but it isn't in the vote, so I decided:
Chicago Spire
Russia Tower
Orynx Tower
and Shanghai WFC

Spire is still the best considering its artistic look. I don`t think there`s going to be anything like it for a long time to come, leaving out the height. I keep imagining the twisted facade and the unique standings like the Eiffel tower`s.

From all those choices, the Burj Dubai and the constellation, followed by the Russia Tower and the Chicago Spire.
My favourite supertall project that isnt listed is The Shard (London Bridge Tower).
