I think a poll showing buildings actually under construction would be better.

" Height isn't Everything, or the Only Thing, for ALL people! " Burj Dubai would be, just, as stunning on a smaller scale than It's planned size. It's sleek design, material composition, proportions and association with It's surroundings appeal most to Me. It's NOT, however, a tower that would " fit " Anywhere!

Hi all.

Although I did vote for 4 or 5, my signature says it all. The complexity of the design along with the height is what does it for me.

My votes:
Burj Dubai-Doesn't need any explanation. Its not only tall, but it also has a nice design, altho i have to say its height isa major factor.

Sumida-Tokyo I feel lacks any defining tower, not anymore.

Jingling Fuguang - Nanjing-That's one crazy design

Burj Al Alam - Dubai-I love the design & although this & Guangzhou Television Tower are similar but the latter is too narrow for my liking.

The Constellation

It is Russia Tower.
Moscow Tower is not a megatall - ~284m.

My choices:

Burj Dubai - No comment...
Russia Tower - Impressive height, very elegant and fits great in Moscow's IBC skyline...
International Commerce Center - So simple yet so beautiful with a nice impact on the great skyline of HK...

BTW: I miss the Guangzhou West Tower in the selection...

I don't think "The Constellation - The Middle East" will ever rise up.

The design looks unconventional. Its just one pipe like glassy object supported by steel or something on the top.

I think the lower part of the towers is well good, but won't the top part look too skinny.

I just realized that Trump Chicago isn't on the list! Is there any reason for it not being on the list?

Did you ever see the first renders of Burj Dubai? i believe not . the ~600m render was damn ugly.
