If you'd read my opening post, you'd see why. I've only included towers over 450m. There are 30 poll options maximum.

Freedom Tower will rise 541 meters (1,776 feet), but much of that height will be in it's needle-like spire. The structural height of Freedom Tower will be 417 meters (1,368 feet).
These two are bigger and beautiful IMO

I have to agree. WTC isn't really so tall and massive as other contenders... It's all about its spire... Why not Federation Tower then - 506m?

Burj Dubai is the Empire State Building of today in an architechtural sense. Its not only shares the similarity of being a milestone achievment. But also having a long spire and relatively many floors .

And BTW there are new renders available for Sumida Tower, Tokyo.

WTC1 gets my vote, but so would Federation Tower (better than Russia Tower, IMHO).

(600m proposal) That was Then!... (818m proposal) This is Now! The 600m proposal wasn't selected, now, was It? Every, revered, building or monument has as many... if not more... detractors as supporters. If We were to debate initial proposals of Skyscrapers (ex: Freedom Tower in Dec 2003), Our conversations would never end!

the 600m version was the earliest proposal for the Burj Dubai with the Flower-design. i'm really glad they increased the height to 818m

1. Russia Tower. Will be a new heart of a city. And glass pyramids are cool.
2. Burj Dubai. Deserves to be called "the tallest building in the world" way more than Taipei 101, imho. A bold statement with a needle.
3. The Constellation - as with BD, my favourite needle is in place, Star Wars like fashion. The most futuristic scraper out there, straight out of a "A life in 2050" book.

Finally finished registering here.
My favorite are:
1. Russia Tower.
2. Chicago Spire.

I do not like Burj Dubai architecture. Just does not look pleasing to me, but it's sure is tall.
