You need to take a visit to Wilmington Wilmington is our best coastal city: beautiful, historic, fairly dense and very walkable.

IMO, there is nothing good about Rocky Mount....nothing at all!

Its just not on in East Carolina. On TV in Wilmington they dont say anything about East Carolina they say Myrtle Beach-Wilmington Market. It is also in the top three most dense counties in NC in the Carolinas at that. Im pretty sure that ECU would have been there if it were considered East Carolina. I would call it, its own market before calling it East Carolina. It is a lot more urban than any city in the area anyway.

Tarheel youre just jealous of Rocky Mount because there more urban than Greenville.
Rocky Mount

Has I-95 also U.S. 64 runs right through the city (greenville dosent have highways that go through the city)

There downtown is way larger than ours with taller buildings than 4 levels.

They dont try to get all suburban in the city (what I mean is they dont build suburbs with in the city ex Firetower road)

There mall is about the same as ours small.

But the downsides Crimes (we have more than them now), Bad Schools (we do have a advantage over them at that ours are good), The population isnt increasing fast but it is, No university (this proves that they dont need a college to grow though unlike us with ECU, and PCMH), Both of us have small airports (but at least ours has one gate and a airline I guess they dont need one due to RDU).

No, Rocky Mount Sucks! Their downtown is dead! Greenville's is not (part of it at least)

I do agree with you about Wilmington. Us folks from eastern NC do not think of Wilmington being part of it. Wilmington is either southeast NC or coastal NC.

You guys are comedians, aren't you? If Wilmington isn't Eastern North Carolina, then what is? Charlotteans may think they are a completely separate state, but Charlotte is still in North Carolina. Wilmington can claim the title of the East-most town more than Greenville and Rocky Mount, the latter being more part of the Triangle, anyway (see the map of the Triangle, below):

Yeap!!! Rocky Mount barely makes it, but it is still part of the Triangle

This is about Pinehurst, which may not be as Eastern as Raleigh, but we don't have any other place to share the news: Ritz-Carlton may put hotel in Pinehurst. Brilliant!!! Raleigh can't f*ckin' get a Ritz-Carlton, yet Pinehurst does No disrespect to the latter, it is more like: WTF is wrong with Raleigh sometimes? I guess they want to make sure g-man and his golf buddies have a nice place to stay if they decide to visit Pinehurst or Southern Pines
