E Tower

[/QUOTE]

I like how different the E-tower looks from different angles. From one Angle, it looks like the tower in Miami. From another, it looks like Trump Chicago.

I'm hoping the E Tower ends up being a supertall, it's up there with 30 Park Place as one of my favorite skyscrapers rising in NYC

Aww, it looks a bit too bottom heavy in that last pic. Shame.

Is there a technical reason why this isn't split like the WTC threads are? Are these buildings attached to each other physically in anyway?

It makes sense to split the thread when they're all actually rising. At the moment, the collective thread is a good place to post news about the whole project.

Wonderful project. NYC's already the most amazing city and it has so many incredible developments happening. Jealous.

They better hurry with the E and D tower before their view towards the Hudson will be blocked by other highrises.

I don't know if these renderings are official. The Corsett Tower was around 900 feet tall and was shorter than the E Tower, which was around 975'. It's now well over 1,000 feet based upon that rendering.

Yes. The one that scrunches up in the middle like an old-fashioned Corsett.

What a brilliant development. Never visited this part of NYC when I visited, but I can see this area becoming another destination for the great island.

As soon as these start to grow the better, the architecture looks really playful - I love it! Especially the one on the far left (as seen on the render above), looks like a block of chimneys.

I'm sure new Yorkers will find a proper nickname for it.
