Your wish will come true. They will not be the only skyscrapers being built on and around this project. It will get pretty dense in the Hudson Yards so they will not stick out as much on their own if that is your concern.

We will have 2 residential skyscrapers being built right next to them (Equinox Tower @ 950 ft & Corset @ 844 ft) then we have another major project being built by another developer right across the street that are 1,216 ft & 935 ft office towers just to start off.

A host other projects to follow in the near future that will be supertalls in this new neighborhood.

I believe I understand that point you are trying to make, though it appears to be more semantics than anything. I'm not any type of architect or engineer, just an average citizen.

Having said that, I still think they look silly

early contruction is underway on the Southern Tower, the "short" 895 footer
also keep in mind that the rendering RW posted is the most up-to-date. The other one on this page depicted two supertalls with the Northern tower at a lower height and with no observation deck.

Just noticed that behind the e-tower they have some generic boxes placed. Just this render though I wonder why.

I thought that was the equinox tower, but realized that building is shorter than the corset.

the Equiniox ("E") tower is 950 ft, the Corset will be 845 ft. This rendering always puzzled me...

If you look at the bases you can see it's three towers not just one. Maybe they want to fill in the area to show these towers won't stand alone, but it is just in one render and pretty hidden. Weird.

I really hope One Hudson Yards remains a supertall. It should, at 1.78m sf.
