A monumental sculpture will be featured at the center of the dramatically landscaped Public Square.

Plus 3 dynamic new parks all converging at the Hudson Yards.

Hi-Line Park

Hudson River Park

Hudson Park & Boulevard

Pretty cool landscapes. That is how to design public space.

VG,

Are those on display at the TW Center or is that simply a photo that someone took from Related's current HQ in the TWC?

I dunno. It definitely looks like it's displayed at an office. Must be from Related HQ.

That must be from Related's HQ. It appears to be high up.

I can't wait to see the design for what Related is building at 1 HY and to learn who the tenant is.

^Wow! This place will be INSANE! Exciting times especially for the yards. That must be fountain like sculpture Ross wants. Something like that but I'm sure the real deal will be epic.

We were promised a New York Eiffel Tower and all we get is the world's largest tampon? I hate marketing people :/

But the monument is not defined yet. What you see in the picture is to know that in the middle of the square will have a monument.
The real sculpture should be much more impressive than that.

The Empire State Building IS a New York Eiffel Tower, except less tacky. We don't NEED another one. Although the Eiffel Tower would look nice in New York.

Anyway, I used to think these towers looked a little awkward because of their "lean", but now I think they look fantastic. The base reminds me of Lincoln Center, which is actually quite nice.

The lower-right corner of the image is particularly interesting. What are they planning for that branch of the High Line? Have we heard about that before?

If it's going to be the Eiffel Tower of NYC, it's going to have to be on a similar scale, that means around 1000 feet tall. Yay! Anything else will be a major disappointment. Don't let me down Mr. Ross, 1000 feet or bust!

Seriously though, I'll bet this one doesn't get over 200 feet.

I agree. This area will be like NY's Pudong, since it will be entirely new and will feature many 400m+ towers.

Now all it needs is a near 500m tower and a 600m+ tower to be like Pudong. Othwerise I'd classify it more like Moscow's IBC. I'd be satisfied if they build a 500m building to roof somewhere there which is probably unlikely though.

if the mcdonalds sites air right are bought for One Hudson, it will mean a tower with over 3million sqft of space
1WTC has 3million sqft... so if all goes well, we'll have a tower with more square footage on a smaller footprint meaning a much taller tower!

just realised i got the 3,000 post on this forum, quite proud
