D is 15
E is 35

...i'm not sure how it works either

yea I think it's interesting that they officially changed it to No. Address. I guess when they do the Western yards, it will put everything together.

I wonder what is or will be 1 Hudson Yards??

I wonder if Brookfield Manhattan West will get the Hudson Yards address desig?

So here we have it.

HUDSON YARDS ADDRESS
10 Hudson Yards = Tower C (Coach)
15 Hudson Yards = Tower D (Culture Tower)
30 Hudson Yards = North Tower (Time Warner)
35 Hudson Yards = Tower E (Equinox)

HUDSON BOULEVARD ADDRESS
1 Hudson Blvd - (Related Co. formerly Extell's)
2 Hudson Blvd - (Related Co. McDonald's Site)
3 Hudson Blvd - (Moinian's Girasol)
4 Hudson Blvd - (Sherwood Equities Tower)
6 Hudson Blvd - (Related Co. or Alloy's 450 HB)

Ah. Didn't see that on there. Well I guess that the numbering will continue westwards into the second phase of the yards, so the Southern buildings would be 10, 15, 20, 25 (or smaller increments leading up to thirty depending on how many buildings actually wind up there), then starting from the North tower, 30, 35, 40, and so on...

VG, my guess is there won't be a 1 Hudson Yards so as to avoid confusion with 1 Hudson Blvd.

I saw the new addresses for the N and S Towers, but where did you see the addressed for the Hudson Blvd towers?

Sorry, I did not see anything for the HB.

I just based HB addresses of the proposed projects on this map.

Starting with 1 HB (extell) located on the HB West on the map below. Then right across the street on HB East would be the Mcdonald's site which would be 2 HB.

3 HB is Girasole on HB West and Sherwoods on HB East, etc...

The park does not exist yet, so I'm afraid that's a no.

Here's news on the potential 6 Hudson Blvd site.

Related already owns a lot here 517W35th street that they just purchased a couple months ago and now Alloy is selling a lot that they own. Combine both lots could give Related 1 m sf for a tower if Related is successful buying this from Alloy. Potentially that 1 m sf tower is zoned for commercial and not residential, but this could be mix use.

Hudson Yards Land Continues to Draw Strong Developer Interest
New Site Could Be Combined With Adjacent Land to Build Another 1 Million-Square-Footer In Heated Far West Midtown Area
http://www.costar.com/News/Article/H...154840&src=rss

Quote:
Already hot land prices on the far west side of Midtown Manhattan are getting even hotter, with Alloy Development marketing 511 West 35th Street, west of Penn Station near Hudson Yards, for a reported $75 million.

A tower of up to 415,000 square feet could be developed at the site, with the sale of air rights allowing the inclusion of 100,000 square feet of residential. However, local market watchers say Hudson Yards developer Related Companies, which acquired the contiguous parcel at 517 W. 35th St. in September, likely has its eye on the site. Combined, the sites could accommodate another 1 million-square-foot+ tower. Robert Knakal of Massey Knakal Realty Services, who is marketing the property, told Crain’s recently that several hotel developers and operators have also expressed interest in the Alloy site.

Unfortunately, several of those renders are for the older, more graceful design, which I don't think I will ever get over.

pretty sure they're all from the latest design?

Just some of them are from an angle where you can't see the observation deck

Nuh-uh. Take a look at this one:

The roofs are oriented away from one another instead of towards (as in the old design). And this one is a lesser-used render, still old, in which both of them are tilted Northward together (and which I still like better than the current version):

EDIT: On another viewing, there's a chance you're right about that second one, although comparing the steepness of the angles of the North/West facing roofline to the latest renders (in which we can see the obs deck), I'm still 90% sure it's one of the old versions. And there's no question about the top one -- the South Tower is clearly pointed away from the North. Anyway, I'm really picking nits here, I just think it's annoying that they keep even one old render on their site, especially when for my money, that version was miles better.

I just find it curious why Related would put an outdated rendering on their totally refreshed website with new content just days ago if that is the case. Those images are the first time I have seen it afaik. I could be wrong...dunno.

The view is looking south toward the actual MTA West Side Yards, which are lowers in elevation than this park section. the Coach/South Tower/ 10 Hudson Yards is the low structure under construction on the left, bracketed by the two blue tower cranes. The foregorund of this photo is the bottom most green rectangle in the Hudson Blvd park diagram in Vertical_Gotham's post #3147 above. Hopefully it will start looking green in spring '14...

themodulorman panoramic photo below is taken from the under-construction Coach/South tower looking north across the West Side storage yards.

themodualrman flickr URL is here, http://www.flickr.com/photos/themodulorman/11040650834/, from which you can select a high-pixel count version and pan around to check out all the construction ongoing. The circular plaza section of the Hudson Park will be built on top of the West Side Yards overbuild-platform. AFAIK, the construction of the FOUNDATIONS for the platform will start in January 2014. The West Side Yards are the VERY active mid-day storage yards for the MTA's Long Island Rail Road.

For reference I've snipped a zoomed in portion of themodulorman's panorama that shows the Hudson Blvd/Park #7 subway entrance, indicated by my red arrow. Currently the subway entrance is warpped with what look like plywood panels. The plywood wrapped subway entrance and white construction trailer are landmarks for both the top & bottom photos.

Those two are old, I definitely recognize them. And the one where they appear to face the same direction is just a trick of the angle.
