First post guys, hi! Been following for quite some time.

The truss over the rails are massive... And the columns/bracing under even more massive. Just imagine the loads on those... Wow!

Just FYI to promote this thread. Not directly part of the yards but right across the street and finally that 450 W. 33rd Street pyramid building is getting a makeover.

We clearly have different tastes in architecture, the only buildings I like in Shanghai and Dubai were designed by western architects. And NY is mostly western architects designing far better towers in NY than shanghai or Dubai, especially Dubai. To each their own I suppose.

For me, skyscraper i love in asia are the following: kl118(KUALA LUMPUR), shanghai tower(shanghai), Wuhan Greenland Center(wuhan), Zhongguo Zun(beijiing) or burj khalifa. They all have spectacular shapes
and i want to see more like them in us.

Good thing that the pyramid/box building across the street is getting a reno. It looks horrible. I was hoping they were going to demolish it, but the renders of the renovated buildings look nice enough.

This complex is so great, love the design of the towers and the location opposite the Hudson River, the tour that permeates buildings is also a great proposal for integration with the surroundings, congratulations and good luck in the conclusion!

I really don't see any new building in NY with the quality of Burj Khalifa or The Pentominium (I know is on hold, but maybe it will resume) same thing go for Shanghai Tower or Ping An.

Maybe you are biased, but for someone from Europe, I don't care if is in Asia or North America, only care about the design.

I like Ping an and CTF Guangzhou but can't get myself to like shanghai tower I I feel it doesn't really fit in the skyline. And CTF and Ping an were both designed by KPF if I am not mistaken. They have many buildings in NY built and UC.

Hudson Yards is really the place for the best new skyscrapers in New York, many other projects are a bitter disappointment to me.

Love that they also changed the design for that corset tower, prof that things can also change for the better.
