And RW actually, I've heard those rumors of moving the Javits Center for years I feel like, but where in the world would they move it to? I can't think of a plot large enough. Obviously, I do agree NY needs a better convention space, Javits is way too small, but do you know where they're looking to move it?
The Sunnyside Rail Yards near LIC in Queens.

I'd say pretty old since the buildings are so small and it has been recently confirmed that the smallest of them will be 300m tall

The new WTC is taller than the old one. There's no shame, what so ever in that.

More importantly, many adjecent sites around this project (which the developer, Related, does not own) have air rights that can accommodate towers in the range of 450m. The West side will be the epicenter of the skyline. Even views of 15 Penn Plaza eventually will be blocked.

This area, which until recently was a forlorn spot that housed auto repair shops, will be a magnificent neighborhood with at least 10 towers that exceed 300m.

It's also agreed in NY that the huge convention center (i.e., the low-rise black building on the left) will be razed and that site, which is bigger than the Hudson Yards, will be redeveloped. That could yield even more 300m+ towers.
Dude... I know I shouldn't get too excited for things that might not happen, but if what you're saying here is true, then OH MY GOD!!!!!!!

Chicago doesn't have one realistic proposal at the moment.

1WTC is identical to the North Tower by roof but taller by pinnacle, however 2WTC is shorter than the South Tower in every aspect.

Btw, as to the boom in NY, yes it's an awesome time for NY and I think we can be even more optimistic in the future since this is just the start of that boom. A much needed change after the economic depression

In several aspects, yup, in every aspect, nope, cause I stated one aspect in which it will be shorter. Every - 1 = not every

Ok let me point this out. The south tower maybe taller than 2WTC. But 1WTC is taller than the South Tower and the North Tower. Question is how tall, the tallest building, at the yard going to be.

based on the news on this prject that has been going around recently, it seems like the biggest tower may be ~400m possibly.

Yes, that's a question, but not the only question. Also it should be noted that 1WTC's roof will be only as tall as the North Tower's

Well unlike you I don't disregard spires so I don't care about that. What do care about is the design of these buildings. And how they fit in with the rest of the city.
