I think this tower could have been a great replacement for the old wtc2 design instead of that new proposal. The glass looks similair to wtc 4 & 1.

No, the WTC needs to be all vertical walls, so neither 30HY nor Ingels-2WTC works in that location.

hmmm.. but why would they put the sea level height on the official website?

I'm not saying you're wrong that's just weird.

It's coming up fast too... I hope they keep the same pace and this doesn't take forever and a day like 10 Hudson yards

Is this going to be all steel or reinforced concrete like 10 Hudson Yards?

Is the "mall" structure between the towers being built in sections? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it would be much wider than that... in the direction of the Hudson River.

^ I think it is. The mall is almost square in plan, so they have only built about 1/3 of it. It is deeper than the length of the two towers that flank it on either side.

From an old curbed article...

YEEEEEES!

Finally steel for the actual tower itself rising up in that corner!

It'll probably start off slow and pick up the pace in a month or 2 I can imagine (hopefully faster)

I'll be sure to capture this on my return in December!

I can barely wait.
If it is just steel, it should rise quickly indeed.
